You may be surprised at the large number of butterfly species native to
our area, and monarch
butterflies stop here on their way to wintering in Mexico. For ten years we have planted successful butterfly
gardens.All you need is a
sunny area, plants butterflies will see and find irresistible, shelter from the wind,
and fresh water-- a small fountain or a birdbath.
Together we will design a butterfly garden that reflects your taste. We will work with you to select plants with staggered
blooming periods to provide a constant source of nourishment. These same plants are likely to attract hummingbirds and beautiful moths.We favor native species whenever
possible.
